Driving Directions to El Roi Guest Lodge

Driving directions from KMIA (Airport):

At the end of the airport road you will find a roundabout (circle), turn right, keep going straight until you reach a T-junction turn left, and then immediately turn right (at Plaston kids), keep driving for about 800m, then turn left onto Jatinga Rd. This is a gravel road. Continue on this road for about 800m and you will find us on your left hand side. Large red brick wall. (or follow the signs for Jatinga Lodge - we are located just 300m before Jatinga lodge)

Driving directions from Komatipoort:

From Komatipoort head southwest on the N4 (head towards Nelspruit) continue for 92km.  Turn right onto R538 – continue for 11.2km. At the roundabout (Traffic circle) take the first exit and stay on the R538- continue for 3km, you will reach a T-junction turn left onto the R538, and then immediately turn right (at Plaston kids)to stay on the R538, keep driving for about 800m (you will pass an Engen garage on your right), then turn left onto Jatinga. This is a gravel road. Continue on this road for about 800m and you will find us on your left hand side. Large red brick wall. (or follow the signs for Jatinga Lodge - we are located just 300m before Jatinga lodge)

Driving directions coming from Nelspruit on the R40:

If you are coming from Nelspruit - head towards White river on the R40.

Continue on the R40 towards White River – you will see Riverside Mall on your right hand side.

From Riverside Mall continue on the R40/Provincial P9/2 Road for about 8.7km,

(you will pass Bundu Lodge(on right))

(As you come down the hill pass through the first traffic light – Novaboard factory on left)

(Then pass through the second traffic light – Engen Garage on left)

Just after the second traffic light turn right onto the Plaston road (there is a sign that says KMIA airport). 

Continue for 3.7km - At the top of the hill you will reach a three-way stop (Vodacom tower) - pass straight through this stop

From this stop continue for about 4.9km

Turn left onto R538 (Plaston kids on your left)

Continue for 800m and take the first left onto Jatinga (this is a dirt road)

Continue 800m – you will see us on your left hand side. Holding 111 – El Roi Guest Lodge

Driving directions coming from White River on the R538:

(If you drove straight through from Nelspruit on the R40 – this road becomes Chief Mgiyeni Khumalo Drive when you reach White River - and then as you exit White River this road becomes the R538)

If you are coming from White River – head North East towards Plaston on the R40/Chief Mgiyeni Khumalo Drive/R538. From the last traffic light in town (next to the Mosque and Welcome store) drive for 7.7km (after about 4.4km just after Yaverland Mills- you will see the 1st Jatinga sign – do not turn onto this one) keep going straight until you see the second Jatinga Sign. Turn Right here onto Jatinga Rd. This is a gravel road.  Continue on this road for about 800m and you will find us on your left hand side. Large red brick wall with black gates.

Driving directions coming from White River from Pick ‘n Pay (White River Square):

When in the parking area of White River Square

Take the South West Exit (between Absa Bank and Standard Bank)

Turn Left onto Hennie van Till street

Turn left at BUCO

Continue for about 2.9km until you reach a T-junction (Vodacom tower)

Turn left at this T-Junction (towards R538 Plaston)

Continue for about 4.9km

Turn left onto R538 (Plaston kids on your left)

Continue for 800m and take the first left onto Jatinga (This is a gravel road.)

Continue 800m – you will see us on your left hand side. Holding 111 – El Roi Guest Lodge

 OR

Driving directions coming from Hazyview on the R40,

As you are approaching White River you will get to a roundabout (traffic circle)

At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Theo Kleynhans Street.

Continue straight for 2.6km (You will pass  through the fiirst traffic light with Volkswagen on your right).

At the second traffic light (Shoprite on your right) pass through this light. 

At the third traffic light turn left onto Chief Mgiyeni Khumalo Drive (R538 Plaston)(After turning you will have a Mosque and Welcome store on your right hand side)

Continue straight for about 3km, bare left and continue for another 4.7km (after about 4.4km just after Yaverland Mills- you will see the 1st Jatinga sign – do not turn onto this one) keep going straight until you see the second Jatinga Sign.

Turn Right here onto Jatinga Rd. (This is a gravel road). 

Continue 800m – you will see us on your left hand side. Holding 111 – El Roi Guest Lodge
